Tap&Ticket is an early-stage software project operated by the individual identified in the applicable agreement. Tap&Ticket is currently being provided to selected businesses as a free pilot.

1. Who we are

Tap&Ticket is an early-stage software project operated by William Thompson. It is currently being provided to selected businesses as a free pilot. Tap&Ticket is not a limited company.

You can contact us at any time at hello@tapandticket.com.

2. What the pilot is

The Tap&Ticket pilot is a free, controlled trial of our digital ticket platform, offered to a small number of selected businesses. It lets you use the service in your day-to-day operation while we continue to develop it.

3. No charges

Taking part in the pilot is free. Specifically:

  • you will not be charged for using the service during the pilot
  • we do not ask for payment details to join or take part
  • there is no automatic conversion to a paid plan when the pilot ends

If we introduce paid plans in future, we will give you reasonable advance notice and you can choose whether to continue or close your account.

4. Pilot period

Your pilot starts when we activate your business account and continues until either side ends it. Either you or we can end the pilot at any time by emailing hello@tapandticket.com. We may also end or change the pilot as a whole, and will give participating businesses reasonable notice if we do.

5. What we provide

We provide access to the Tap&Ticket platform features made available to pilot businesses, which may include NFC drop-off stands links, digital customer tickets, job status tracking, a staff dashboard, customer records and Apple Wallet passes. Features may change, be added or be removed during the pilot.

6. What we ask of you

As a pilot business, you agree to:

  • provide accurate business and contact information
  • use the service lawfully and take responsibility for your staff users
  • test your Tap&Ticket stand link before relying on it with customers
  • honour the digital tickets you issue to your customers
  • tell us about problems, so we can improve the service

7. Customer data

For your customers' personal data processed through Tap&Ticket, your business is the data controller and Tap&Ticket acts as your data processor under our Data Processing Agreement. Our Privacy Notice explains how data is handled across the service.

8. Availability and support

The pilot is provided with reasonable skill and care, but as an early-stage service it may be interrupted, changed or unavailable from time to time. Support is by email at hello@tapandticket.com, and we aim to respond promptly during UK business hours.

9. Feedback

We may ask for your feedback during the pilot. You are under no obligation to provide it. If you do, we may use it to improve the service.

10. Ending the pilot

When your participation ends, we will handle your business and customer data in line with our Data Retention and Deletion Policy. You can ask for a copy of your data before your account closes, and we will provide it in a commonly used electronic format.

11. Liability

Because the pilot is provided free of charge, our liability to you is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, or loss of business. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence or for fraud.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as the pilot develops. We will give reasonable advance notice of material changes by email or through the dashboard. If you do not agree with a change, you may end your participation before it takes effect.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
